RealADSB - What's New in Version 1.15
In this version, on top of usual activities like fixing bugs and adding more and more airplanes to the database,
there is one more significant change that affects the way aircrafts shown on map and hopefully makes it better.

Every 3 seconds app is calling adsb_hub and asking information about location, speed, callsign, etc of aircrafts around.
With previous versions of the app if there was not update of location then aircraft is not moving on map.
While it reflects precisely what data is available there is a way to calculate intermediate position of aircraft using speed and time interval since previous update of location.
Similar approach allows to predict altitude and that's exactly what new version 1.15 does.
Next ADS-B message with location or speed will override predicted value so mistakes don't accumulate.
Overall it helps to get more realistic picture of aircrafts on map relatively to each other.
Algorithm is controlled by setting called 'Predict Position' and switched on by default.

RealADSB iOS app Updated on Nov 14, 2016

What's New in Version 1.16
For our friends outside of US new version is adding metric units selectable in settings. That results in:
* Speed in kilometers per hour instead of knots
* Vertical speed in meters per minute instead of feet per minute
* Altitude in meters instead of feet
* Distance in kilometers instead of miles

What's New in Version 1.21
1) New setting: Transition Altitude. By default it's 18000 feet so for aircrafts flying below 18000 app will use atmospheric pressure of reference airport to calculate QNH altitude. Reference airport is the nearest one OR airport set in system setting 'Distance from Airport' OR airport defined in P2P feed.
2) New button (on the left of Share button) to get METAR of reference airport.
3) Smooth movements of aircrafts on map.
4) More aircrafts in database including first Air France Boeing 787 F-HRBA

RealADSB - What's New in Version 1.22

* New option to modify tail number and ICAO type of aircraft. This might be helpful for rare, local, unusual, military traffic that unlikely to get into the main database of ADS-B capable aircrafts. It's using iCloud and automatically synchronizes modifications between multiple iOS devices. That means your changes will not be lost if you reinstall app or modifications done on iPad will be visible on AppleTV.

* Updated main database of aircrafts

* Few minor bug fixes
